Genesis 18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
Abraham asked God nine questions as he bartered with Him over the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
One has to think there would have been at least ten righteous there, but no there wasn't. What if there had been five and Abraham had asked for that? God was willing to not destroy them at Abraham's request, did he give up too soon?
What about you today? Are you asking God to intervene for your family? Will you give up before you reach the point that will save them?
At no point in this conversation did the Lord seem vexed with Abraham.
Makes me wonder if I am doing enough to protect my family during my prayer time.
Would my prayer be what makes the difference I what God does with them?
