Psalm 15:1-3 [1] Lord , who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? [2] He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. [3] He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
Who shall abide with the Lord...
Not these guys:
--backbiteth not with his tongue, this is to slander or be a tale bearer--don't think it has to be a lie, just spreading bad stuff about others
--doeth evil to his neighbor--pretty self explanatory, doing stuff just to cause harm to others
--taketh up reproach against his neighbor--makes me think of all those that get offended easily nowdays, it is just a selfish look at things as to how everything should be about ME!
So, if I want to abide with the Lord, I need to avoid these behaviors
