Psalm 78:9-12 [9] The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle. [10] They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; [11] And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them. [12] Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
The day of battle has arrived. Â
We are armed and ready. Â We have seen what God has done in the past for the victory. Â Are we going to fight or retreat? Â That moment of decision is always before us. Â
These men refused to fight. Â Refused to walk following God's Law. Â

Joshua 24:15,24 [15] And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. [24] And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
