Where Do Babies Come From?

Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Where do babies come from? No matter what we do or don't do to get a baby, they are a gift from God. He is in control of their arrival. When trying to or trying not to have a baby we need to be prepared for God to allow or not to allow this to happen. Like other situations in our lives we need to submit to His will. This may be controversial to some, but it really comes down to letting God have His way in your life. This is a struggle for both those who suffer with infertility and those who don't.
I was a very high risk pregnancy every time. I ended up taking measures to prevent pregnancy, but none are 100% effective. There was an underlying fear of getting pregnant every month. I remember a time when I had some sort of bug at that crucial time of the month when you wait for your natural pregnancy test results to arrive. I was late and sicker than a dog (which pretty much describes me as a pregnant lady). I was a bit freaked out that God would allow this to happen. My chances of complications were very high. I prayed like crazy. I pleaded with the Lord for protection. It was a very stressful two weeks while I waited. I then got my results, no pregnancy. I was relieved. Then again, I was very glad to have gone through this. While suffering through the possibilities of this situation, I learned a valuable lesson.
Trust God.
I came to the point that if God allowed me to become pregnant, it was His perfect will. He would meet my every need.
For those who are infertile or suffer from multiple miscarriages, I am not saying anything against adoption here. My whole purpose for this is about learning to trust and allow God to work in your heart and life. To fully submit to His perfect will for your life brings peace.
