When a tree is planted, there is a purpose for it.
Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
What season are you in?
This verse talks about the tree bringing forth fruit in his season. Yet, the fruit is ripe for only a portion of the tree's year. There is the winter season, then spring, then summer, then the fall season when the fruit is ready (thinking of an apple tree at the moment). Each season has its purpose. Each season needs to be completed for the next one to fulfill its purpose also.
What about you? What season are you in? Recognize that God has a purpose for this season in your life. Flourish in that purpose. If it winter...make sure your roots are strengthening and growing through the reading of God's Word. Is it spring. Bloosom and prepare for the fruit in your future. Are you reaching others with the Gospel? Summer...grow that fruit! Are you discipling others or edifying those around you? Fall...time for harvest, the fruit is ripe. Make sure you are continuing to bring others to Christ. Bountiful harvest awaits are you sharing your fruit?
