What are you waiting for?

Psalm 130:5-6 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. [6] My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

WAIT:  to wait, look for, hope, expect

WATCH:  to keep, guard, observe, give heed

The time of sunrise is listed each day.  We know when it will come.  Just this week we watched for the sun to rise over the horizon at the beach.  We knew when we had to be outside to see it.  We were not disappointed. 

This verse speaks of waiting for the Lord being more vital than watching for the sun to rise each day.  It is even repeated in the verse how much more important it is to wait for the Lord.  

Be sure to be looking for and hoping for and expecting the Lord to be a part of each day!  

It would be life altering of the sun did not rise this morning....but imagine if the Lord did not arrive in your day and the consequences of Him not being there!
