2 Corinthians 12:8-9 [8] For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. [9] And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Paul went to the Lord repeatedly asking for relief. This is how He answered:
--My grace is sufficient for thee
--My strength is made perfect in weakness
Then Paul answered:
--Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
--That the power of Christ may rest upon me.
This makes me think of trees. If you have a support in place for the life of the tree, they never grow strong enough to withstand the wind. But, if you gradually remove the support as they grow they will strengthen and be able withstand a mighty wind. Whatever trial is buffeting you in life today, God will provide the support you need. Glory in the winds around you and remember that even the winds obey His voice, God will not allow more than you can handle with His help.
