Matthew 9:35-36 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
My Definitions:
Healing every sickness - temporary illness
Healing every disease - permanent illness
I found this verse interesting today when thinking about His healing the people of every sickness and every disease. What is the difference between the two? My definitions above are a summary I came to after reading several definitions. God has the power to heal both the temporary and permanent conditions we face.
But when he saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted....
God knows how hard it is to deal with your sickness or disease. He has compassion on you! Don't lose hope, He will strengthen you. He always provides just what you need for the day.
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
