Exodus 40:4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
"Set in order the things that are to be set in order..."
So many details shared in these chapters. I find this verse interesting. They were to prepare these items ahead to be ready. I think it would be like a surgeon having his instruments prepped and ready for service.
We should be like that. We should have the tools needed ready for service. We should be prepared for our time with God. Both items for our devotion times and also items for our service towards God. It pleases the Lord when we are prepared and ready. In the same token, I think it would displeased Him if we were not prepared.
1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
