Colossians 2:6-7 [6] As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: [7] Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
I remember this park in Hawaii that was full of these trees. Â The roots were anywhere from inches to several feet high. Â The span of the limbs and roots below was very wide. Â They were amazing! Â These trees are what came to mind when I read the part about being rooted and built up in Him. Â
What a solid foundation we have in Christ to attach our roots to! Â
How wide the span of our outreaching limbs into the world can be when we are rooted in Him!
No storm that the devil sends our way can topple us when God has established our roots in faith!
We should be abounding in thanksgiving for how God has provided such a solid foundation for us!
