Rest in the Lord

Psalm 37:7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

• Rest-To be quiet or still; to be undisturbed. 

• In the Lord,

• And wait patiently for Him

• Fret- To be vexed; to be chafed or irritated; to be angry; to utter peevish expressions.

• because of the man who bringeth wicked devices (That which is formed by design, or invented; scheme; artificial contrivance; stratagem; project; sometimes in a good sense; more generally in a bad sense, as artifices are usually employed for bad purposes.)

Our job is to... Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:

His job is to bring it to pass.
