Psalm 96:11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
This covers all. Â
Sky, earth, sea....all the fullness thereof. Â
God wants us to rejoice and be glad. Â So, what can you rejoice about today?
Let the sea roar. Â Waves are most commonly caused by wind. Wind-driven waves, or surface waves, are created by the friction between wind and surface water. As wind blows across the surface of the ocean or a lake, the continual disturbance creates a wave crest. The gravitational pull of the sun and moon on the earth also causes waves. (NOAA).Â
Do we have wind (friction) in our lives? Â
Do we have things in our lives that pull us to and fro? Â
What I’m trying to point out here is that waves are normal.  Let them happen. Yet still rejoice and be glad.  On this earth the seas roar, and the fullness (everything in it) thereof.  Waves can be comforting in their regular patterns or boisterously scary in a storm.  No matter which waves you have going on right now.  Rejoice and know that God controls the oceans and the waves in your life today!
