Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
My son…the Bible is written to us directly from our Father as instructions for our lives. Do you listen to the instructions for your day?
You open the box. Pull out all the pieces. Then you put it together. This process could apply to anything. Sometimes you are able to finish the project without the instructions. Other times you heavily rely on them. We should think of our time in God’s Word as our instructions for the day. When we are facing a situation that seems impossible we need to go to “the instructions Book”.
Don’t try to do it by yourself.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
