Revelation 3:19-21 [19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:
Why would He rebuke and chasten us? Because He loves us and wants what is best for us.
be zealous therefore, and repent.
Zealous -Having or showing great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective.
Repent-feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin.
[20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:
Christ is at the door waiting for our response. He gives us the choice.
if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
If we choose to answer Him...Christ will come in and fellowship with us. But we get to make the choice. He will not force His way.
[21] To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
There are rewards waiting for us when we make the right choice.
