Maketh it Glad

Proverbs 12:25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

Heaviness, when you are carrying your burdens with you. It becomes too much to bear and drags you down. There is no need to carry it alone, we have a Heavenly Father which we can share our burdens with. He will help us bear our burdens if we let Him.

A good word maketh it glad. What is the difference between criticism and encouragement? Criticism tears down and encouragement builds up. It is not always necessary to tear down, it is prudent to build up. Don't get me wrong, there is a time to criticize. But when someone is carrying heaviness, a good word maketh it glad, that is the time encouragement is needed.
