Romans 6:14,16,18
For sin shall not have DOMINION over you...
DOMINION: the power or right of governing and controlling; sovereign authority.
Know ye not, that to whom ye YIELD yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey...
YIELD: to surrender or submit, as to superior power:
Being then made FREE from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
FREE: to make free; set at liberty; release from bondage, imprisonment, or restraint.
Sin. You do not have to allow it to control you! You choose who to yield to. Sinful nature or Christlike nature. Once you have yielded yourself to Christ...you are made free! The thing is....you must yield over and over again. This is not a one-and-done thing. This is about your daily walk.
