Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
God sent his messenger in first to prepare the people.
I wholeheartedly believe that He does this in real life. Just like He did with me and job changes in the past. He had been working on my heart for several months to prepare me for change. We surely miss out when we don't listen to the voice He sends us.
