Keep His Testimonies

Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Keep his testimonies.

Makes me think of going to the animal shelter and picking up a fuzzy kitten. It snuggles right in your arms. It purrs loudly. I decide right there, I am going to keep you!

God's Word can be like that. We just need to pick it up, allow it to penetrate our hearts. It is a perfect fit. We have to decide to keep it. Or we can put it down and move on. We have the choice to seek and to keep.

The last part mentions your whole heart. It is very easy to only seek and or keep with a partial heart. But then will we not only be partially blessed? Food for thought.
