Revelation 2:25-26 [25] But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. [26] And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Hold fast... Strong's Definition
From G2904; to use strength that is seize or retain (literally or figuratively): - hold (by fast) keep lay hand (hold) on obtain retain take (by).
To him will I give power over the nations...this power is to him that is holding fast, overcoming, and keeping God's works. This does not speak about what they are up against...it only speaks of how they respond.
God is more powerful than any force that is in the world!
Hold fast to Him through your trials and you will overcome.
