Buckler-A kind of shield, or piece of defensive armor, anciently used in war. It was composed of wood, or wickers woven together, covered with skin or leather, fortified with plates of brass or other metal, and worn on the left arm. On the middle was an umbo, boss or prominence, very useful in causing stones and darts to glance off. The buckler often was four feet long, and covered the whole body.
Trust-To trust in, to confide in; to place confidence in; to rely on; a use frequent in the Scriptures.
As for God, His way is complete and entirely in accord with the facts in the Bible which is completely and entirely in line with facts. He is a shield for us that will cover us entirely and protect us from the darts of this world. But you must confide in Him and rely on Him.
