Genesis 3:9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Adam and Eve sinned and hid themselves.
Being a parent gives you a glimpse of God once in a while. Image that your child did something wrong. You know what they did. You know where they are hiding. But, you call out to them and then ask them questions to bring out the truth.
This is how God handled Adam and Eve.
There have been many times that my parenting has made me appreciate how God deals with His children.
One of the biggest is when they are doing their own thing and not following my will for their life. God doesn't make us do His will. At the same time, we must pay the price for choosing not to follow His plan just like Adam and Eve lost their place in the garden, we lose what is best when we choose our way over His way.
