Proverbs 11:12 He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
Void of wisdom...despiseth his neighbor
When you don't take the time or effort to understand others, they would be easy to despise. They don't do "it" like you would, so you disagree and despise. Understanding the other person's God given temperament, helps you to understand them. But when you are void of any understanding of how they are thinking...it becomes easy to get frustrated with them.
But...A man of understanding, holdeth his peace. If you see others through their natural makeup you will be able to understand their actions are part of who they are. We cannot expect everyone to be the same. We would be robots then. To encourage their strengths and accept their faults would be acting like a man of understanding.
