Diligently

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Early- this word could have more than one meaning. Most times it is referred to as time of day, meaning that you should have your time with God early in the day. There is another definition to this word that I find interesting. 

Diligently…those that seek me diligently shall find me. 

Have you ever been looking for something? You go into the room and scan over the contents, don’t see it only to come back later and look diligently and then see it. 

Are we like that with God's Word. Just scanning our daily reading and then moving on. Or do you diligently seek to gain a nugget of instruction each day from your reading?
