Be Ready To Give An Answer

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Answer: verbal defense, reason

We need to be ready with an answer, but it also says with meekness and fear. This falls into the category of act don’t react. We should already have the reason figured out for why we do what we do. Then when needed we are able too respond with gentleness and reverence toward the hope that lies within us. The key to doing this is to sanctify the Lord God in your heart first. Putting Him as first place in your heart will allow you to answer as an action and not a reaction to others.
