Are You Watching?

Do we watch the Lord and wait expectantly for his next command for us? Are we the watchful servant? Are we waiting and anticipating his next request for us?

Psalm 123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

My old dog, Charlie, loved popcorn.  He would very intently watch every chewing motion as I eat my bowl.  Just waiting for a small crumb to drop.  He would actively gobble up any morsel before it even hit the ground. Please, his eyes would beg me...for just a small piece to be shared.  Are we like that with God, fervently waiting for a crumb from His table?  Wait upon your Lord, unto He have mercy upon you.
