2 Corinthians 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
We are troubled-to press (as grapes), press hard upon
On every side,-each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything
Yet not distressed,-crushedÂ
Sometimes what is going on around us or to us will seem to be overwhelming. Â Seems like we are getting squeezed by our circumstances around us. Â Never fear, God will not allow us to be crushed, He is squeezing our very best out of us, like the juice out of a grape. Â The outward man has to go to expose the heart.
We are perplexed,-to have no way out that is be at a loss (mentally)
It may seem like there is no way out, but don’t fear, God is forever in control.
But not in despair-to be utterly at loss, be utterly destitute of measures or resources, to renounce all hope, be in despair
This is part of His plan to bring the fruit out of you. Â If we never were to squeeze the grapes, there would never be the juice. Â The grapes would eventually go bad and not be used. Â Allow yourself to be crushed by God to bring out your juice for His purpose.
