Busy

Exodus 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

I’m so busy.

That is our excuse...we are too busy to rest

Earring time (plowing) and harvest...very busy times for the farmer. Yet, the Bible says even then to rest. Harvest especially has time constraints, yet the Bible says rest is still important.

Are we too busy because of doing too much? Doing it unorganized? Refusing appropriate assistance? It’s good to reassess your tasks once in a while and see if they still need to be done and by whom. Then checking up on the methods of doing them.

So, if your are feeling overwhelmed, might be time to take stock of who, what, why, when, where is making you so busy. Time to plan for some resting too.
